Exciting opportunity to lead an evaluation project!

NSAB are offering an exciting opportunity to lead an evaluation project.

The project is to support the piloting and evaluation of a framework document with key members of staff in the three Norfolk acute hospitals.  The pilot will last for six months.  The co produced framework has been developed to support decision making on four specific areas of adult safeguarding:

  • general and unwitnessed falls
  • pressure areas
  • incidents between two adults with care and support needs
  • medication errors

The overall aim of the framework is to provide better outcomes for people ensuring there is a consistent approach in the response from agencies - along with building improved, transparent relationships between the different organisations and promoting confidence in the safeguarding process.

The framework has been designed now and NSAB wishes to commission a suitably skilled person to oversee and implement the pilot.  The candidate must be independent of all acute hospital services within the Norfolk area; have experience of running service evaluation projects; be able to collate, interpret and present data and produce a formal report (including executive summary) and short articles for academic publication.

Please see the Expressions of Interest document for more information and details of how to apply.  The closing date for expression of interest is 5pm on Friday 16 February.  The project will commence in March 2024.

If you would like to find out more, or for an informal chat, please contact Walter Lloyd-Smith, NSAB manager on 07785 355831.
